Kitchinme Bawa works as Sanitation Advisor to the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW) with its secretariat in Abuja, Nigeria.

AMCOW is a Pan African Intergovernmental organization working on high-level political advocacy on water and sanitation.

He also represents Western, Central and Northern Africa on the steering committee of the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC), hosted by the United Nations Office of Project Services.
